About Us: Pattillo, Brown & Hill, L.L.P. is looking for a dedicated Helpdesk Technician to join our dynamic IT team in Waco, Texas. We are committed to fostering a positive work environment and are seeking a new team member with a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and strong troubleshooting capabilities. This position is open to hybrid or fully remote, depending on experience.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proficient in PC architecture and Windows 11 operating system.
  • Advanced knowledge of network and printer troubleshooting.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively assist end-users.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
  • Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
  • Comfortable with remote troubleshooting.
Job Duties:

  • Respond to incoming support requests and provide timely technical assistance to end-users.
  • Conduct independent research to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Address technical problems related to PCs, printers, and networks.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to tackle complex technical challenges.
  • Document and track support requests, resolutions, and activities in the helpdesk ticketing system.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to offer support after business hours.
  • Assist with system and software upgrades and installations.
  • Provide remote technical support to end-users as needed.
Experience/Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; an Associate degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. Certifications are a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
